New Audition for a local Play

    Monday, May 21, 2007, 06:27 PM [General]

The first weekend in June, I'll be auditioning for "Inherit the Wind" in St. Augustine. I believe this will actually be an outdoor performance but I really have no ohter details. It's been a while since I've been on stage and my loyal fans (Yeah, I honestly have loyal fans!) are demanding I return to the stage as soon as possible. If I don't placate them, they will get vindictive! I have learned it is possible to become too popular. GEEEEZ! Oh and they aren't all related to me, either.

    Thanks for the info!

    Saturday, May 19, 2007, 01:08 PM [General]

Thanks for the info and the link, too! The only thing keeping me from relocating to L.A. is lack of money. I think that's always the numero uno roadblock for everyone. I view my acting not so much as a passion but rather as a business. Once the business starts bringing in the $$$, I'll relocate to Pluto if that's where the opportunity is. I'm single and not attached to Florida in any other way than financial. Mommie always encouraged me to be a Viking. "Get out there and plunder you lazy Ox!" I do agree most whole heartedly. However, I believe L.A. is rather expensive. Consequently, I'm sticking with the business idea of moving once I start making bucks.

Seeking a cure for slow payment.

    Friday, May 18, 2007, 09:23 AM [General]

Anybody know a good cure for slow payment?  My first paying gig, shot last September, took over three months before the agency paid me and I shot a Kurt Angle/TNA wrestling promo a month ago that I am still awaiting payment on. That one the TNA wrestling folks said they would pay the day after the shoot wrapped. They also gave us the option of by-passing our agencies, too. I want the agency that got me this job to realize I can get work so, I want them in on the payment. They told me originally they did not have high expectations for me with my specialized look.  I've heard from the trio of Florida agencies representing me. Well, if they would just send me on more auditions I could probably get more work! I don't know what the agencies are like in your section of the galaxy but here in Florida, if you are not an EXACT match for the character breakdowns the agencies will not submit you for an audition. How many character breakdowns do you suppose there are for "one eyed" characters?

    The ten minute western!

    Thursday, May 17, 2007, 06:01 PM [General]

"Texas Ranger" is a 10 minute western student film I was in and have finally received a dvd copy of! We filmed it at Full Sail Film School in Orlando last June. As soon as my computer advisor helps me defeat the VOB code on the dvd I'll post it for you all to see. Let me add this note, last June my hair was Paris Hilton Platinum blonde. I have since gone back to shaving my head ala Telly Savalas. Who loves ya, baby?
