JOSEPH:

Monologue Blogger came about while I was working at PMA, a literary management company. I was asked if I could set up a blog site to help create a buzz for an up and coming feature film that the film department of PMA, Millenium Lion, was in the process of shooting. I responded by saying sure, no problem. I honestly never even heard the word blog. What the hell did I know? I didn't want to look like I didn't know what the word meant, so I kept my mouth shut and said I can do one. Later that day, I turned to my computer and googled the word blog. That was how I cam to learn about blogging.I've always enjoyed writing monologues and began posting up my monologues to a blog site. Within two weeks time, I went from 1-20-30 pageviews a day to 200-300-400 pageviews a day. Then I broke the 1,000 mark and I was jumping up and down. Then I broke the 2,000 mark, the 3,000 mark.

After seeing such a strong response, I realized how important a monologue resource like I accidentally created is. Not only for actors in search of original monologues but for anyone who enjoys reading monologues for fun. I have been fortunate to receive tons of positive comments/feedback from people all over the world.

Monologue Blogger is my full time passion and I plan on continuing to give you the best I have in me to give with my monologues.
