All members of the network have access to the information but if you want to post replies and new topics on the message boards, you must apply to join the group. It's a 1-click "join" process and then you will be able to post messages to the existing boards. Keep in mind, you can also set up your own groups on your website and invite others to join your groups as well!

We want to help you make the most of joining Actors Metropolis so we thought we would help you understand how much you can actually do here.

First, you will see 7 tabs above titled Group, Blog, Photo Gallery, Video Gallery, Calendar, Group Members and Forum. Any member of the group can post in most of the sections. There are some functions only the group moderator can perform and if you have any questions or would like to see additional group options please send a message to the administrator.

A brief description is as follows:

Group: Gives you an overview of what the group is about, recent forum posts, and latest blog posts. You will also find a list of the group members and any group photos people would like to share with the group.

Blog: Any group member can post comments about blog entry and this will be the section where all the group news will be added.

Photos: Share photos with members of the group. You can post virtually anything that you think others might be interested in seeing. This is a great way to share photos of the set, acting class, funny signs, star sightings and more.

Videos: As with the photos, you can also upload video of virtually anything you would like to share with the group.

Calendar: This is a great feature of Actors Metropolis in that we, as a group, can add to the calendar and create a whole bunch of activities fellow group members may like to participate in. Suggestions include the annual Awards shows, SAG events, Group trips and outings to a variety of venues. It will also be helpful to post movie premiers and so much more! TAKE NOTE: If you have an entry for the calendar please send it to the Administrator so they can update the calendar for all to view.

Group Members: Here you will find a listing of all the members of the Actors Toolbox. You can view profiles send messages to members and add them to your private groups.

Forum: This is probably the most important part of the group setting because it is the place where all the busy work will happen. Discussions, learning and questions will all be presented here and responded to by administrators or other group members.

It's also important to know that the Actors Toolbox is seperate from your own group and you can leave the group at any time by simply clicking "leave this group".

I would suggest saving the forum page to your desktop or favorite files to provide one-click access to the forum.
